Refreshing ourselves, widening our Hearts

breathe you are online

We are miracles of life. Inside we find the Earth, the Sun, animals, plants and minerals. We interare with everything, also with all other human beings. With the practice of loving kindness, we can strengthen our commitment to love and care. When we are nourished and at ease we easily can act in a way that promote happiness, peace and healing around us.

Offer your self this gift in the beginning of the year, to care for yourself. Below is a Meditation on Love from our Chanting from the Heart, which has many other gems.

Love Meditation
May I be peaceful, happy, and light in body and spirit.
May I be safe and free from injury.
May I be free from anger, fear, and anxiety.
May I learn to look at myself with the eyes of understanding and love.
May I be able to recognize and touch the seeds of joy and happiness in myself.
May I learn to identify and see the sources of anger, craving, and delusion in myself.
May I know how to nourish the seeds of joy in myself every day.
May I be able to live fresh, solid, and free.
May I be free from attachment and aversion, but not be indifferent.

You can listen to a 10 minutes recorded version of this Meditation on Love, starting with ourselves. We can then extend our care to people close to us, to groups of people, to the Earth, to people we do not get along with, to everyone and everything. Enjoy!

  1. Self-care is important. If we aren’t experiencing God’s peace and joy in our hearts, we aren’t going to be pleasant company for others! I can see the Love Meditation, with a bit of revision, becoming a prayer for those around us, too

Thank you very much for becoming a follower of my blog. I’m delighted you find the posts meaningful.
